It is a hill station which is about 35 kilometres from the state capital of Dehradun. The hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range. Mussoorie is at an average altitude of 2,005 metres (6,578 ft). To the northeast are the Himalayan snow ranges, and to the south, the Doon valley and Shivalik ranges.

1. Kempty Waterfall
It is the most beautiful and the natural waterfall. You can reach Kempty waterfall by two ways one is by normal walk and other way is through ropeway. The view from this waterfall is very clear and nice. This is one of the must visit place in Mussoorie. It is perfect place for those who want to enjoy short swim.
2. Gun Hill
Gun Hill is located at 6800 feet above sea level, and it is the second highest point of Mussoorrie after Lal Tibba (8000 feet). You can take cable car ride to reach there. From the top one can enjoy a good view of Himalayan ranges, and Mussoorie town. The place is over crowded with restaurants, shops, and attractions like balloon shooting, taking picture in local dress, purchasing souvenirs.
3. Camel's Black Road
It is located in the heart of Mussoorie. The Camel’s Back Road is one of the most popular attractions of this spectacular hill station. It is shaped like a camel's hump, the 4 km stretch is popular trekking spot also offering horse-rides. Tourists also flock here to get a panoramic and unobstructed view of the sunrise and sunset.
4. Jharipani Falls
This place is trekking spot, you need to go down around 2-3 km, you rarely find people there. Place is quite silent and peaceful. You will not get anything to eat there, this is a kind of forest. You cannot go down by vehicle, you have trek by foot and go, at some places walking path is damaged by land sliding so watch your steps through out the trek. This place is strongly recommended.
5. Nag Tibba Trek
It is one of the amazing trek of Mussoorie. It is just 15 km trek. This a snow trek and it's view is mesmerizing.
A small hamlet towards East of Landour, Dhanaulti houses the Sukhanda Devi shrine amidst the lushness of Himalayan greenery and attracts numerous pilgrims to its site.
