Must-Visit Restaurants in Seoul, South Korea

Seoul is the capital of South Korea and indeed the "Seoul" of the country. It's one of the most visited places in the country due to its various tourist spots. Restaurants in Seoul have also earned high praises from tourists and food critics for their inventive delights and authentic flavours. The Korean capital consists of an extensive array of delicacies, from fresh seafood, vegetarian dishes to steaks and noodles. Here are some of my favourite restaurants in Seoul, South Korea.

Address: 26 Myeongdong 8ga-gil, Chungmuro 2(i)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Timing: 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM

A tad expensive but the food is incredibly tasty. The BBQ is the main highlight. The rich and refreshing flavours of all kinds of soup goes will with barbeque meals. Service is also good and fast. It also offers a very cosy atmosphere and will leave you with a memory of great dining experience.

Address: 7-4 Myeongdong 10-gil, Myeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Timing: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM

This one is definitely for the cheese lovers. The basic premise of this restuarant is its spicy pork back ribs with the slight saltiness of cheese and the crunch of corn. It's not as strange as it sounds, the spicy-ness of pork balances out the blandness of cheese perfectly, and as a whole it's a really good dish. The service is also quick and efficient.

Address: 43 China town-ro, Bukseong-dong 3(sam)-ga, Jung-gu, Incheon, South Korea

Timing: 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM

This restuarant is not exactly in Seoul, but just a few kilometres away from the capital. The speciality of this restaurant is jajangmyeon, and it is actually one of the bests in the entire country. The chefs created a beautiful balance of sweet and spicy flavours. Even though this restaurant is slightly expensive, the food definitely makes it worth it.

Address: 3 Myeongnyun 10-gil, Myeongdong 2(i)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Timing: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM

This is one of the most insanely popular chain restuarant with multiple outlets all over Seoul. One of the best things about it is its quick service, and the food is just so incredibly delicious. You can stop by here when you are in a hurry to go somewhere else and also want to eat as even during its peak hours, the service is fast.

Address: 194-1 Buldang-ri, Jungbu-myeon, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

Seoul is a very crowded place and when you want to avoid tourist trap, this is the best place to go and enjoy an incredible dinner. It is Seoul's most traditional korean restaurant. A little hard to find and reach as it on top of a hill, when you're there experiencing the authentic dining with beautiful scenery, everything feels worth it.
