It gives you that royal feeling of Raja - maharajas and their luxurious life. The place is so rich in diversity, food, clothing that the trip will be a memorable one for you.
Some of the royal and grand places that radiates the culture and history of Jaipur, are as follows:
The Magnificent Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal is one of the finest architecture from the period of Rajputs. The artmanship and fine works of Hawa Mahal which is the honeycomb structure with intrinsic work holds glory and honour to the craftmans of Rajputana. It was built to allow the Rajput woman to witness and view the festivals and everyday life in Purdah. The palace of Winds has 953 lattice-worked windows and it is built by using red and pink sandstones. This gives the palace its unique aura and valor. Hawa mahal is prominent for its architecture and skilled craftsmanship. You should visit this place at least once in your lifetime to witness this glorious work of our ancestors. Standing near it made me feel proud of my country's history and our ancestors. This should be on the top of your "places to visit in Jaipur "list.
Jaipur is famous for its palace and royalty. There are several forts and palaces in Rajasthan, but this palace is one of the best forts to visit in Jaipur.Amer or Amber Fort is located in Rajasthan, called Amer. The fort is rich in artistic details covered with sandstones and designs inspired by the mughal architecture. The attractive and marvellous palace is divided into many parts. You can book a jeep to go to the palace. Its boundary is so huge that walking and sightseeing can be a problem. The sheesh mahal inside it is gorgeous. The sheesh mahal was built by the king for his queen and it's so gorgeous inside. It is also known as mirror palace. The Amer fort attracts thousands of tourists and is marked as the one of the best tourist attraction places in Rajasthan.

Jaipur and forts are synonyms to each other. Royalty is in the air of Jaipur and you will want to soak in that royalty for the rest of your life. Did you know that the Nahargarh Fort is connected to the Amer fort by a tunnel. It was done for safety purposes. Nahargarh Fort is one of the many palaces of Jaipur. It was built for the ladies and it has quarters called Zenana. Rich in delicate works of craft and handwork, the palace is a living example of our diverse and rich history and Rajput empire. It is located on the top of a hill, so hiring a jeep or a taxi is recommended for proper sightseeing.
Apart from this, there are many things to do in Jaipur. Jaipur is not only rich in palaces and forts, but also has remarkable works of handlooms and markets. The handlooms and jaipuri sarees are handmade with mirrors. The colour and quality of the products are so rich that I had to buy another suitcase to bring my things home. Some of the things you must definitely buy from Jaipur markets are: jutis, jaipuri kurtis, handbags, sarees and lehengas.
Also, there is food to eat in Jaipur that you will absolutely love. You should definitely try out Pyaz kachori, Laal Maans, and soan papdi. The soan papdi stall near Hawa Mahal is the best. Thank me later.
