Ananthagiri hills - OOTY of Telangana
Ananthagiri hills is a must visit hill station located in Telangana near a small town called vikarabad. It is located around 90km from Hyderabad and 6km from vikarabad. The hills are located in the eastern ghats at an elevation of 700meters above sea level and provide some amazing views of the surrounding forests.
It is said that the famous musi river, which flows through Hyderabad originates in the ananthagiri hills and the surrounding forests. Ananthagiri experiences pleasant weather throughout the year with temperatures ranging from 16°C to 22°C during winters.

HOW TO REACH ANANTHAGIRI HILLS :
The most convenient way of travelling to these hills is by road from Hyderabad. You can also reach by flight, the nearest airport to the town of ananthagiri is Hyderabad which is about 100km from destination. One can take a train till vikarabad and then a cab from station to drive uphill is other easiest way to reach destination.

Surely visit anantha padmanabha swamy temple which is abode to Lord Vishnu. This temple was built by Nizam king around 400 years ago.
