5 Places You Must Visit On Your Trip To Singapore!

Singapore is one of Asia’s most visited destinations. It is both a city, and a country located in South-East Asia. Having the highest religious diversity in any country, Singapore is also called a miniature of modern Asia with extravagant delights of sight-seeing and food. Through its efficient and widespread transport system, Singapore has climbed to be one of Asia’s hit-list destinations. With the picture-perfect skyline and bustling crowds, Singapore has become tourist’s favorite locations because of the plethora of culture cuisines and architectures! Here are 5 places that you must visit on your trip to Singapore!

Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel, which is also Asia’s largest observation wheel and it is located in downtown Marina Bay. For the most marvelous views of the city, Singapore Flyer is the go-to attraction. From this wheel, you can see several iconic and historical sites like Raffles Place, Empress Place, Merlion Park and the Padang! The wheel can take you 165 meters above ground so you can feast your eyes on beautiful skyscrapers and skyline.  It has 28 air-conditioned capsules, each able to accommodate 28 passengers, and incorporates a three-story terminal building. You can even experience aerial dining here through special in-flight packages!

Gardens by the Bay is a huge and colorful futuristic park in the Bay area of Singapore. The standout feature of this place are its Super-Tree like structures which offer a stellar skywalk over the gardens and giant seashell shaped greenhouses. Gardens by the Bay is an ideal destination for kids and grown-ups. The Flower Dome is an enclosed space which is cooler than outside and you can even dine there in the Mediterranean restaurant that creates dishes using herbs and vegetables grown in-house. There’s also a series of four inter-connecting gardens with plants and trees from India, Malaysia, China and the Colonial Garden; as a nod to different nationalities that have settled in Singapore over the last decades! This location is a beautiful getaway from the city’s bustling crowds and skyscrapers.

Sentosa Island is a man-made island which packed with entertaining activities for children and families. Sentosa is also known for its best beaches in Singapore. All attractions of this island are easy to get to by free monorail and bus service that runs around the island. One of my personal favorite is Universal Studios; it is a massive complex of themed rides, live-shows and Hollywood movie-sets. Multiple sections of Hollywood, New York, Ancient Egypt and Madagascar will take you through an impressive cinematic journey. Then we have the Adventure Cove Waterpark where you will find several adrenalin-filled fun rides and slides. Sentosa Skyline Luge & Skyride is an open-air cable-driven chairlift which starts at mainland Singapore to the Sentosa Island. It is a perfect way for transport all the while getting beautiful views across Singapore. There are many other places like S.E.A Aquarium, Golf Club, Nature Discovery, beaches and many more. What’s assured is that visit to this island will surely be worth it and make your trip even more memorable!

Wings of Time is world’s first permanent night show set in the open sea and is projected onto a giant water screen. Here you can experience fountains, water jets, laser and fire effects with glorious and incredible music production and breathtaking visuals weaved together by a beautiful tale about friendship and courage. There’s no better way to complete a stellar day other than experiencing this show!

iFly Singapore is an ideal destination for people who want to sky-dive but maybe can’t due to possible acrophobia. It is world’s largest wind tunnel with 18 feet tall acrylic glass walls, all the while you can see stellar views of the South China Sea and Siloso Beach. The iFly Singapore experience lasts for about 2 hours per person where you are prepared for your flight and necessary gearing up. This place will make you experience true free-fall conditions, just like a real skydive.
