How Can We Reduce The Use Of Plastic.

How can we reduce the use of plastic.

Due to growing world population, the amount of garbage produce is increasing.

Today's lifestyle requires easily disposable products. As plastic is composed of major toxic pollutants. It has the potential to cause significant harm on the environment in the form of air, water and land pollution.

Plastic is made up of nonrenewable fossil fuels. It takes more than 1000 years for it to decompose.Plastics are choking many organisms and creating an imbalance in the ecosystem.

So,why don't we reduce the use of plastic?

There are many ways to reduce plastics.

It is more convenient to use cloth bags or a durably plastic bag that have longevity. such that it can be used multiple times.

It would be more effective if ones banned the use of plastic bags.

It will be more convenient for us to use paper bottles or metallic ones.

It is more important for us to keep reusing the plastic materials as much we can.

Lastly, even though we can't stop using plastics we can minimize its uses.

We must not forget that every action starts from us.

Plastic is extremely dangerous to our environment.

Even though everything isn't in our hands we can try our best just by taking small steps.

We can carry our own shopping bags while going in markets or malls.

We can prevent buying plastic bottled waters.

For all the coffee or tea lovers, speaking of refillable, bringing your own thermos for to-go coffee is another way to reduce your plastic footprint. Disposable coffee cups might look like paper but they’re usually lined with polyethylene, a type of plastic resin. In theory these materials can be recycled, but most places lack the infrastructure to do so. Then there are lids, stirrers, and coffee vendors that still use polystyrene foam cups—which can all be avoided with your own mug.

Also say no to straws.

Whether for home use or when you’re ordering a drink at a bar or restaurant, plastic straws are often a single-use item that's just not necessary.

For many households, the majority of plastic waste is generated in the kitchen. So one of the best ways to reduce the packaging waste madness is to bring your own bags and containers and stock up on bulk foods.

Most importantly we must change the containers where we store our foods.

Why not we use cute tiffins or something like foil paper instead of plastics?

So lets try taking small steps and turn them into major.
