  1. Floating Post Office in India - India is a country which has the largest postal service network in the world. Not only postal services but also it has many unique post offices. There is a floating post office in India which is located in Dal Lake, Srinagar. It also serves as a tourist place which is open for all the travelers who want to visit and take photographs of the beautiful place.
  2. Most famous icon of India - Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is one of the most famous icons in India. He is also referred as 'Bapu' meaning father in the whole country. He was the leading figure in the India's struggle for independence and was also famous for his non-violence philosophy. He is so famous that the face of Mahatma Gandhi has appeared on every denominations of Indian Rupees printed since 1996.

The first forms of shampoo were some herbs mixed with water. The word 'shampoo' is derived from the Sanskrit word 'champu' meaning ''to massage''.

It weighs about 67000 tones made with more than 12000 bronze panels. The tallest building in India is twice as tall as The Statue of Liberty which is 305ft or 93m tall.

  7. Most ancient surviving city in the World - Varanasi the holiest city of India, also known as Kashi or Banaras is known to be the earliest living cities in the world. It is believed that it was once the home of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
  8. World's largest sundial located in India - World's largest sundial in located in the state of Jaipur, India which is 27m or 90ft tall. It is listed as a World Heritage Sight by UNESCO.
  9. Highest Population of Vegetarian - It is envisioned that among 15% and 30% of India's population comply with a strict vegetarian diet. Whilst many other can devour only fish and no land animals. Western food chains like KFC offers vegetarian menu.
  10. Second most populated country in the world - India is ranked the second-maximum populous country within the world. India has kind of 1.37 billion people and the population is increasing day by day. By the year 2050, it is estimated that India will exceed the population of China which the number one ranked country in terms of population. 
  11. Origin of the game 'Snakes and Ladders' - Snakes and Ladders is a board game that is bought throughout the world, it originated in India created to teach morals to young kids in India.
