Nutritious & Tasty Homemade Recipe of "Ande Ki Bhurji"

Eggs are known to be one of the original superfoods due to its incredible nutritious value. Eggs have been a part of human diet since decades and obviously, it's due to the fact that it has several nutrients that are hard to come by from other food. Not only do eggs provide high quality protein, they also contain 11 vitamins and minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants. And this means they can make a valuable contribution to daily nutrient requirements. Most of the protein in an egg can be found in the egg white, while the yolk contains healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

We eat eggs almost daily, but let's be honest, it gets very monotonous eating the same thing (hard boiled egg) again and again. One of my favourite egg recipe is Ande ki Bhurji, which are just hard-scrambled eggs but with desi twist in it. Whenever your mom has cooked a vegetable you don't like or maybe you want a nutritious snack or breakfast, you can just follow this simple recipe and enjoy this dish.

3 Eggs

1 Chopped Onion

1 Sliced Tomato

⅓ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

⅓ Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder

1 Teaspoon Salt

(You can change the spices' quantity as per your liking)

1. Take a bowl and add 3 eggs in it and whisk them well. Whisk is more preferable than a fork as whisking them will give more air to the eggs, hence the scrambled eggs will be fluffy.

2. Add ⅓tsp of red chilli powder, ⅓tsp of turmeric and 1 tsp of salt. Now whisk them again properly.

3. Take a pan and heat a small butter cube. Add chopped onions and when they turn golden-brown color add tomatoes.

4. Now pour the eggs in the hot pan and keep whirring the eggs. Make sure the eggs don't stick to the pan and keep whirring until the eggs are properly cooked.

Serve hot.
