Daily skin care routine for glowing skin

Glowing and flawless skin is the dream of every girl. But to achieve that, one must take good care of their skin. Proper hydration and adequate diet is necessary to get that gorgeous looking skin. Proper skin care must be maintained. But those 8 step skin care routine is so time consuming and hard to follow. We don’t have time or energy to follow that long regime. And for someone like me, it is next to impossible. So I have decided to share my skin care routine that makes my skin glow and smooth. So, let’s talk about the daily skin care routine for glowing and flawless skin.

·         start your day with a glass of water

I can never recommend this step enough. Drinking water is essential to keep ourselves hydrated. Hydrated skin tends to glow and give a radiant effect to your skin.  Drink at least eight glasses of water to keep yourself hydrated.

·         Cleanse your skin

Cleansing is a pivotal part of skincare. The dust and dirt that sticks to our face can clog pores and cause various skin disease. Un cleaned and dirty skin is prone to breakouts and acne. Also, you need to know the right way to cleanse your face. Take a liberal amount of face wash on your palm. Apply it to your damp skin with and finger in circular motion. Be gentle on your skin and wash it off with water. Cleanse twice a day to see better results

·         Scrub your face once a week

Scrubbing is essential to remove the dead skin cell that gets accumulated on the skin. It immediately makes your skin soft and tender. Dead skin cells blocks your pores and causes blackheads and whiteheads. Scrubbing once a week gives you that subtle, glowing skin you love. Take a generous amount of scrub on the tip of your finger and gently massage it in circular motion. Always apply your scrub on a damp face and be gentle on your skin. Excessive scrubbing can cause rashes and rip natural oil from your skin.

·         Use a toner

I believe toner is an essential part of our skin care routine. It removes the extra impurities left on our skin and makes our skin more glowing and radiant. It rejuvenates our skin and makes us look beautiful. Use an organic toner free from harmful chemicals (I’ll post another blog for that) because toners penetrate directly into our bare skin. You can apply it by using a cotton pad or spray it on your face but don’t rub it. Rubbing it on the skin does not work. Dab it into your skin.

·      Moisturize your face

moisturize your face twice a week.  Use a good moisturizer according to your skin type. Opt for a gel based moisturizer to avoid oily and greasy looking skin. Apply a generous amount of moisturizer right after the toner on your damp face to lock the water moisture to your face. Apply twice a day.

·         Use a sunscreen

Sunscreen must be applied every day to block the harmful ultra violet rays from penetrating your skin. Sunscreen prevents skin care and all skin related problems. Generous amount of sunscreen must be applied. If you have an oily skin opt for a gel based sunscreen. Sunscreen must be used on rainy days and indoors.
